We cordially invite you to the Rare Diseases Symposium on April 19, 2027 at the Van Swieten Hall in Vienna. The event offers an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences, learn about perspectives from research and clinical practice, and strengthen interdisciplinary networking.
The focus will be on the challenges faced by people with rare and previously undiagnosed diseases, as well as on how scientific findings can lead to better care.

Registration and payment of a participation fee of €50 are required. Details will follow shortly.
Event location
The event will take place in the Van Swieten Hall of the Medical University of Vienna, located at Van-Swieten-Gasse 1a, 1090 Vienna.
By public transportation:
Take subway line U6 to Währinger Straße/Volksoper, then walk about 8 minutes.
Alternatively, take tram lines 5, 33, or 37 to Lazarettgasse.
By car:
Parking is limited in the surrounding area (short-term parking zone). We recommend traveling by public transportation or using the parking garage of the AKH (access via Währinger Gürtel).
